This thread is cool. So many good fish / stories.
I wanna hear about that musky. My biggest to date was 26 lbs, I was 13 and fishing the Apple River, WI. Caught it on a buck tail bait I made 2 days before.

Nice fish! Red October tube? That’s an often overlooked bait. They got the spelling wrong though, MUSKIE is how that is spelt where you caught that fish

Never cared to have any fish mounted, I do enjoy the memory, kinda nice to have a photo to remember it by.
It's the memory and the actual catch is what does it for me.
