his argument was that he did not solicit information and he did not use the information he received.....and....he told the polygraph operator of his being jacked up on steroids and pain pills (due to his back problems) and polygraph operator assured him there would be no problems then would not allow him to see the results....this is a serious accusation,it likely will severely limit his ability to keep or obtain sponsors and to continue as a professional fisherman....and to add insult to this fiasco,BASS witheld his $5,000. winnings in the tournament and demanded he pay a $2,500. fine....
keep in mind,BASS prior to the tournament threatened to kick him out and ban him from future tournaments because he polled the fishermen to get their recommendations on how to handle the use of FFS....

To me it's real simple...Did he solicit info..Yes or no. Did he use any info given to him in any manner in the tournament...Yes or no. If no on both then I don't see what's the big deal. I'm more like Ike on I don't like anglers working together during tournaments. I think that's not right. I know you can't prevent all those guys from talking because they all room together, but they are doing way more than talking a little fishing.

So at the Fork tournament someone should stand on the boat ramp dock and yell at every angler "we are wearing them out scoping on standing timber with minnows, jerk baits, jigs, and swim baits"? That way they all get info and can't do it.

BASS is 1000% a dumpster fire. It is and has been for a long long time. They funny thing is the lower levels like college, high school, and the Bass Nation local and State stuff is worse than the stupidity at the Elite level. It's a poor run organization from top to bottom at every single level. Even the most simple things like paperwork, entry forms, club fees, etc they make insanely difficult. There really is nothing that they do well from an organizational standpoint. From an Elite level standpoint they literally had the pro bass fishing world laid in their lap when MLF was going through some really tough times. Bass's response was to double down on stupid and make the exact same mistakes that MLF made and then add in some new and creative mistakes of their own. I don't feel sorry for any of them, most especially the anglers. They are the ones that lobbied for this current no info rule. All the olds wanted this rule because they were convinced the young guys were beating them because of information. Turns out they were and still are beating them because they are better fishermen and work harder.

I agree with that... Most jobs will not let you work if you are on any kind of pain meds. Heck, I think they all say don't operate heavy equipment while taking.

Fishing the Elites is definitely not a job..
