Huh? Where do you think the term “clean faces win races” comes from? Front runners on muddy tracks absolutely have an advantage because they don’t have to deal with muddy kickback

I went to the horse races once in Sallisaw Oklahoma, The Horse I bet on fell and broke his leg. angel
