This is for those who keep their boat but update their electronics. What do you do with your old units? I have several from over the years and hate to just throw them in the trash if they can be recycled. Thanks for the advice.i

No these are real old and non supported units, i don't think it would cover shipping. I have a Humminbird 597 and 798SI along with a couple of even earlier versions. But thanks for the advice.

Some people use them to install pictures in them using it as a frame. May save or put free on the classified section. Have them pay shipping.

Quick search on ebay shows the 597 goes for $150.
The 797 goes for $250

IF the unit/s still work, give them to some Jr BASS kids/High School or their parents that don't have any electronics or have older than what you have.
