I can’t stand summer. I didn’t even like it as a kid even though we were outside 12 hrs a day.
It just sucks to go outside in 100 degree temp.
Gimme 40 and shorts, hoodie, and crocs.
Notice only nasty critters come out in summer. Lizards, snakes, wasps, mosquitoes, cicadas.

I bet I would like summer a whole lot more if I worked indoors.

But working outside when it’s 30° - 40° sucks too. Winter is dumb.

We’ve already been in the 90s several times, mostly mid 80s. But when it’s in the 70s like it was most of February and march, it fantastic. Mid 90s and possible rain everyday is coming up soon

And yes, I hate cold weather

I welded indoors many years. In the summer, even night shift is miserable. You couldnt turn fans directly on you because the wind would cause air bubbles in your welds with those migs.
Changed to a job welding outside with stick all day. Better only because I didn’t wear all the leather [censored] like you have to with mig.

Come to think of it, maybe that’s when I really started hating summer.
That or two a days in 1995 on practice fields with stickers in 107 heat
