Any rod recommendations for a minnow setup? I would like to stay 200 and below. I typically have fished duckett rods but open to others.

Just about any medium to medium light spinning rod will work. It’s literally sight fishing, sensitivity can take a back seat to castability and comfort of use. You watch the bait get eaten, then set the hook.

If you are gonna run braid to flouro leader which seems to be the rage lately one with normal size guides is helpful

Ardent edge rod in the 6'9 medium work perfect. Used them to not win the tourney last weekend but caught dozens of bass with it.
When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip! #Brockstarama

GLoomis NRX+ or Conquest 842s paired with a Stella. Never mind, you said $200 or less.

I bought a Daiwa Kage Medium Light rod from Lake Pro Tackle for it. It’s been great!
