how can someone who is a NFL talent expert not already know this? You called Sanders a HOF player but this Cowboy draft not even a good one. He showed he's an idiot and has no idea what he's talking about. I suspect a Browns fan!

PFF for what that's worth. The fact is NOBODY knows who had a good draft or a bad draft until at least two years later. Yes, they picked positions of need and they looked good in college and it looks good on paper, but none of that necessarily translates to the pro game.

A guy named Jimmy Johnson once drafted two quarterbacks in the same draft…
That is correct, but they had the supplemental draft going then and they took Walsh in the supplemental. They then had to forfeit their 1st round pick in the 90 draft which would've been the first pick. But I believe they traded Walsh for a 1, 3 and 5 so it worked out in the end. Colts took Jeff George #1 in the 90 draft. That guy had a cannon for an arm but never seemed too interested in playing.

how can someone who is a NFL talent expert not already know this? You called Sanders a HOF player but this Cowboy draft not even a good one. Are you sure you aren’t just putting words in my mouth? I never called Shadeur a future HOF, I said he’s a day one draft talent, future starter, and eventual pro bowlcaliber player. I never made a negative or positive comment on the cowboys draft, other than that lineman they picked first prances around like a fairy. He was prancing, not me. The cowboys will need all the help they can get, I hope they had the number 1 draft. I noticed coach prime went from having a big draft party on campus to hosting a gathering at his place im TX for Shadeur and Travis Hunter went to Green Bay. Something tells me Shadeur slid further down that draft board. Deion wouldn’t put together a big event if his boy wasn’t a top 5 pick. He’s probably working a deal with Jerry I’m not a prime hater, I think he has good intentions, and has raised good kids. Shadeur will eventually be a descent qb in the league, but I don’t think it’ll be instant, which it usually never is anyway.

Dallas had a top 5 draft? The draft is 90% about value in the first round, because they have by far the most impact. And we reached for a guy who wasn't projected til 20-30 picks later. He's a guard that Jerry said we picked as protection for Dak, but guards aren't even the ones facing real pass rushers.
He'll be a fine addition to the line, but we got less value than we could have...by a long shot.

I disagree , the second best guard in the draft was taken at 18, the Cowboys had Booker at 8 on their draft board, cannot fault a team for taking best player available in their minds, you probably said exactly the same thing when they took Tyler Smith, Micah Parsons, Travis Frederick etc. Who should they have picked at 12 in your opinion ? What really gets me is all these mock draftsters that think they know more about the players than the scouts and coaches, the one who claim that the pick was a reach, maybe in their minds but not in the minds of the team that made the pick.

If only their first 3 picks become regular starters (excluding special teams), I think they've done fine.
