I’m taking 40mg of Atorvastatin with out any muscle pain or cramping.

Been taking it for a year, it lowered my Cholesterol from 210 to 115.

LDL is 55.

Been on 20mg Atorvastatin for years. Can’t attribute this to my back pains.

I’m on rosuvastatin 20mg, I have a lot of joint pain and aches of all sorts but I’ve never thought the statin was responsible. My cholesterol numbers are really money though,

I've been doing Simvastatin 40 MG for about 15 years now. So far so good. It is also recommended to limit alcohol use when taking Simvastatin.

Same here. Can't take them.

Started on Crestor and felt horrible, so then got on Livalo but was still having pretty bad back pain. Told doc I'm done and will just have to deal with cholesterol as it was making life unbearable.

If you have never had any artery blockages or heart attacks having high cholesterol may not be a big deal.

I had blockages and after surgery started taking cholesterol meds so I won’t have anymore blockages in the future.

I tried all of the popular statins and had problems with them. Doc switched me to Repatha and it really lowered my numbers significantly without issues. I never thought that I had a big cholesterol problem because my tests always showed a "high normal" result. But in 2018, an inexpensive coronary calcium test resulted in a number totally off the chart. An echo-cardiogram stress test showed a significant distributed plaque problem. My cardiologist wanted to drop my LDL cholesterol and triglycerides as low as possible. Repatha has done that.

Been on Pravastatin 40mg for about 7 years now. Saw my cardiologist about 2 weeks ago and he doubled it to 80mg.
No issues so far.

Dr. Put me on a statin drug for cholesterol, don’t remember the name as it was about 8 years ago. After about 6 weeks I had 2 of the worst nose bleeds I’ve ever had. Needless to say I took myself off and actually changed doctors, new dr. Said my cholesterol was fine without.

Have you been retested to get the results after taking the meds?

Curious
