Does anyone know if two 13lb+ fish have been caught by the same person on the same day on public water? It's the first time I'm aware of. Heck of a day Larry!

Early days of Butch Brown in Southern California trout lakes and a Hudd….only instance I can think of.

I meant to add in "texas" as another caveat. Yeah, I remember that video of Butch brown well.

Larry seems like about the nicest damn guy around too! If anyone deserves it, he does.

Dalton Smith at Ivie a couple years ago did it.

I was thinking that might have been the case. I was a couple hundred yards away from him when he caught the first one. I couldn't remember if it was him or his buddy who caught the second one.

Im sure plenty of those old school California guys have done it, when California was at its peak.

It seems like all the fish he catches are guide trips. Ive seen him at Ivie several times fishing with all the high dollar guides.

How are you all so sure? Makes no difference to me where, but public or private is a distinct difference. High fence fish get a 25% weight reduction. So only the 14 is a DD if caught high fence fishing.

This is the same Larry Walker that sold minnows in Grand Prairie when I was a child growing up there? Grew minnow sales into a tackle store, then Walkers Marine……Same guy?

Thought of you the other day, apparently a lot of grouting going on at the dam on amistad if you’re looking for work while you wait for the mud holes around you to fill up.
