Sometimes I think the guy should stay in his own lane and just keep to telling people why they need triangular shaped livewells.

I remember when they bugged Michael Jordan for not taking a stand in politics and he said “white kids buy sneakers too”. If I was selling boats I’d just stick to that.

One thing I don’t really understand is why these electronics companies opt to sponsor anyone. Everyone is going to buy. None of them are improving sales in any way. I would just dull out bonus cash like Garmin does to the top finisher.

They want some brand recognition, doesn't hurt when a pro wins using your brand if that pro can demonstrate why brand "X" and the features incorporated helped for the win.

As for the "athleticism", yeah these guys aren't high level athletes, but they are young which does have some physical advantages.

I had every intention of putting FFS on my rig and have the money to do that and a new trolling motor but have put it on hold until the dust settles on all this especially with the HS level fishing, haven't heard anything one way or the other but I figure if THSBA is going to do something they'll pull the trigger on it this summer.
My boat is in the shop getting a lower unit and prop repair from an encounter about a month ago on Lake O' the Pines so I'm kind of in a forced holding pattern anyway. Shops are so backed up I wouldn't be surprised if it was July before I got it back. The shop it is at has a couple of boats I might swap for that already has everything on them; who knows, might work a deal.
