I had 3 of his rods. His senko rod had great action, was my go to until I broke it this year. Great fisherman, congrats on a great career.

Supposedly he is retiring from competitive fishing at the end of this year. Says he’s been fishing for 40 years, dang I’m getting old.
Is he in the top 20 of all time for professional anglers??? Top 30?
Does anyone care if he retires, does anyone here buy his branded equipment? I really like Skeet Reese but the "been fishing for 40 years" is kind deceptive. Skeet is 56 years old, subtract 40 years equals 16 years. To be accurate he should have said that he has been fishing all of his life or I have been fishing professionally for "X" amount of years. I wish him the best of luck in his further endeavors.

Allways a class act on the water, will miss seeing him on the water oldschool fishing! He definitely worked the sponsors in his career, he will be fine im sure lol.

I can remember when he started, I met him not to long after he'd started making a showing in Bassmasters. I think he already has a You Tube thing and I believe doing a show on one of the outdoor networks so he may go do that full time or show up behind a microphone for one of the tournament sanctioning bodies. I couldn't imagine him just walking away.
