The trail crew is a group of vocational employees managed by Goodwill. I’m not 100 percent on this citing.

The DFW cat from late last year made it's way to Longview and was killed by a vehicle

I spotted it Last Friday. It went into the gutter drain in the street. Was not looking to good at the time. If you want to pray for it go ahead.

How do we know it’s not the one spotted in San Marcos?

Gravy maker plowed one down about six miles east of Marble Falls ten years ago. Made a decent mess out of her car.

Big cats can move in and out of cities easily by traveling quietly along waterways that lead out into the country.

Rogan had a recent encounter with “black panther” he blamed it on people that also have zebras and giraffes. It’s wild like Africa over there apparently.

Why are people surprised that animals known to range hundreds of miles might show up anywhere in Texas...or anywhere else for that matter? They don't exactly register with the authorities and file their travel plans.

I don't know if they ever figured out for sure what he died from. It was investigated by TP&W and USDA trackers and mt lion was completely ruled out.

Last I knew mountain lions are territorial. If the population in their core range increases, the young males roam for a new home, like said already often along river corridors. They show up in the news fairly often in many states. I know in Iowa where they aren’t known to live in decades maybe over a century, they aren’t protected, and deer hunters have shot them.

I’m not sure what the rules are here, I’ve never heard of anyone shooting one or thinking about it.
