Question for Mav fans. Why is the mascot a horse? A Maverick was a term given to un branded cattle. Samual Maverick , South Texas Rancher and Politician refused to brand his cattle during free range days. probably why they suck, they are cattle that think they are horses

Won’t bring him back, and I agree he will likely shorten his lack of defense career with conditioning issues; but clearing out most of the stink of that terrible trade is needed to move forward.
Not happy with the new majority ownership group; but that won’t change unless they can’t pay enough politicians to bring sports gambling to DFW.
