I used to do a lot of Ironman events, and had a $5000 bike. I had insurance from a company that specifically insured bikes, for wrecks and theft. Now my kayak, sitting in the shed, without electronics and trolling motor is a $5000 boat. Does anyone here have kayak insurance? If so, who do you use, and what might I be looking at paying? And no, my homeowners policy isn’t gonna cover it.
I don’t have room in the garage, so it is under the shed with my tractor, trailer, and tractor implements.
Thanks for any input.

Thanks guys. I reckon I’ll just see what kind of quote I get from regular boat insurers.
I have a Hobie PA14 with accessories on it. I take as much off of it when I am done for the day, but it is still a chunk of money as it sits at night in an unsecured covered shed.
