Staring at his trail on his graph instead of looking where he’s going can be the only logical explanation.

My thoughts as well, he was trying to hit the cut between the point and the hump to cut the corner and diving by screen.

Are we 100% sure the striper boat wasn't under way when the accident happened?

How are you gonna tell from a go pro where the guy was looking.... unless he was reaching for something they aren't gonna see where his eyes were

When looking at all the boat wrecks that have been talked about here, the common denominator is Too Much Speed. Too many graphs on the bow or console can contribute, or watching your graph instead of the water in front of you can contribute, but is it Always the Speed.

And yes, accidents are Accidents, but when I’m sittin’ in my kayak next to a bridge piling, and the bass boat comes flying under the bridge doing 60+ and I get hit, are the people on here gonna be saying, “the idiot was sitting still under the bridge in a kayak, or will they be saying, they boater was going so fast he couldn’t see and react in time?

Speed Kills. . . Just Sayin’.

And yet in that video there were several boats running at speed just fine because they didn’t cut corners and were paying attention to their surroundings. It was the Indian not the arrow that caused this.

I haven’t seen any and it sounds like one of the victims died in the boat so you may not want to see it.
