Pretty good story with good results. The beef farmer said the boy was in good shape but upset. The rancher traced the boy's steps and found the dog had escorted him for at least a mile. Awesome story. One of mine is a Pyrenees, they are awesome dogs. Haven't seen a coyote or mountain lion on my property in about 9 years

Cool story. Also, helicopters looking for the boy also Saw 2 mountain lions nearby.

Our Pyrenees just had a seizure Monday morning and scared the hell out of us. Great guard dog but he only has 2 brain cells made of toothpics and one of them is eaten up with termites. He just wondered up into the back pasture a couple years ago and adopted us. I know we have yotes, hogs and the game warden said we have a lion in the area. This dog however, barks at leaves blowing in the wind. Any time he damn well wants too.  Many a sleepless night.

BUT...this is a story about Buford! Way to go Buford for rescuing that lil boy! Agree and it’s pretty cool. The dog helped that young boy.
