I bought a Navionics + card almost 4 years ago when I bought my HDS Live unit. I didn’t bother registering it at the time. Now I have been seeing that there are updates you can get for the card. I downloaded the Garmin software on my laptop, created an account and tried to update. The Garmin software says it can’t find the card with it inserted into my computer. Any ideas of how to get it to see my card so I can get the latest updates?

Hey LTF since you have an HDS live try this first if you haven`t already.Go to the Lowrance web site and click on the help & support tab,look for software updates & click there ,Under downloads click and scroll down , find your product (HDS Live) and click on it. The latest update for your unit 25.1. As for the card I don`t think there`s any more support for it after 4 years. I could be wrong but I think you`ll just have to purchase an upgrade like c-map + . I have an HDS12 and i hardly ever use my navionics chart source since I upgraded to the C-,maps card. You may want to check youtube and see if there is a video on this issue.
