I am 82 years old and fished most of my life. I have fished the same Bass Club for the last 30 years I have been club President and Tournament Director as well as every other job in the club. all that to say this, I have watched the club standings for years and when FFS got started I noticed that the people who had FFS were constantly the club leaders the "Old guys" were moved farther down the ladder, so to me it says "I have a lot more Money than you so I can get the best electronics and win more tournaments" . I don't know if these same "Anglers" would be able to compete without the FFS. Go to a local club tournament weigh in and watch the winners, look at their boats, it looks like a top of the line boat with 4 or 5 TVs and all the best equipment. I think FFS is probably alright but is has no place in a tournament if the playing field is not level the tournament is not fair. If you want to be fair then have only a FFS tournament and us old people will stay away, The FFS is going to ruin or destroy LOTS of Bass Clubs. JMHO You sound like you voted for Kamala

Sgrem, I don't know how old you are nor do I care, I am entitled to my opinion just like you are I just say there are two ways to fish, and I will say that my way won't hurt the club tournaments or the sport. I just won't fish with you.
I don't have nor have i ever fished on a boat with FFS. I have one Garmin GPSMap at the helm. I am a Texas Certified Weighmaster and Tournament Director. This has been discussed.... i was actually supporting you quite heavily....their needs to be different divisions. Many saltwater tournaments have artificial only division and any bait divisions for that very reason.....to keep things level and fair. I didn't discount your opinion at all. Just like shooting skeet with a 410.... you can have fun in the tournament and donate your money but you won't win.
