95% of all climate scientist agree with who ever pays them

where did you come up with this figure?

I read it in a book back in the 90's ---- " Democrats are Stupid "

i know you are being funny

if you are ever around real scientist it is an amazing process to watch

So Butch.
With all the access to the scientific world why don’t you find the answer to the simple question asked.
Nobody else wants to.

this topic doesn't interest me at all
i worry that people are so anti - whatever
that they will blow off trying to have a clean planet

the real people are worried about clean air, water, & Earth
carbon is not that big of a topic
they hate phosphorous

So are the "real people" all driving EV's? Living in tiny houses? Strict vegetarians? Living off the electrical grid, relying solely on solar panels and windmills installed on or around thier tiny house?

Or do they just sit around worrying after leaving their 3,000 SF house in their big ol' SUV on their way to work (don't forget the stop at Starbucks to get a latte).

There's a lot of talk about saving the planet, but who wants to live the lifestyle associate with the saving? Not me. And I doubt you'll find many "real people" that are.

I remember a number of years ago when we were in Alaska at the Mendenhall Glacier. There was a group on the platform looking at the face of the glacier with an old Park Ranger there to answer our questions. Someone asked him about how much global warming was affecting the glacier. He just said it was a natural cycle of Mother Nature. Sometimes it moves forward an inch or two, and sometimes it moves back the same amount."

I find it funny that all these people screaming about climate change and how we're destroying the planet, all live in huge metro areas that are literally deforested and covered in heat absorbing concrete. D/FW is almost 10K square miles of which, I would gather 70% has been covered in human made construction. Roads, parking lots, asphalt shingles...etc etc.. Of course your concrete jungle is going to be warmer. You cut down and destroyed Earths natural filters so you can live in a house you can't afford to impress people you don't even know. Any area with high population density is of course, going to have higher temps and your surroundings don't encompass heat dissipation.

Now way that this...will ever have the natural cleaning abilities

Do some of that research in some rural areas and see how the data changes. Not to mention, how much better the air literally smells out here.

On second thought, no, PLEASE stay in your cities! Keep your pollution and delusions of grandeur up there!

I've used this before, and until someone can disprove it, I'll keep using it.

The most rabid climate goons are like fire ants. Huh?
A fire ant only knows what's around them, the mound with a zillion other fire ants. They travel their little fire ant trails, and never vary from what they see.

So the fire ant assumes the entire planet is exactly like what they see every day. So, they think (well think is a stretch) the world needs to fix their mound. Ten feet away is unmolested earth, but they'll never know it.

It blows my mind how out of touch and blind these people are. I've delivered soils to pipeline reclamation companies out in Granbury/Tolar areas and it's pristine country landscape, 100% as beautiful and natural as it was to begin with. There is a pole with pipeline marking about every 300 or so ft, but other than that, cows are grazing, hay is being grown, birds and other wildlife carry on their every day lives. I would dare any one of those protesters to look outside their house and NOT see a steel erection holding transmission lines and 5000Sq ft of concrete. Let alone stick their head out their bedroom window and talk directly to their neighbor in an over packed, crowded McMansion neighborhood.

Keystone pipeline just had a pretty significant spill
Enough to shut it down

You must have only read the headline. No where did they say pollution is a good thing

And I guarantee you, it will be cleaned up and it left better than it was before. Wish I could find those picture I took while out on those pipeline jobs. 1000's of acres of natural beauty and beasts.

agree totally with the above.......go drive the alaskan highway and take a side trip up to Dawson city in Yukon territory.....when you drive 1,800 miles and there is a small town every 200 miles or so and you see hundreds of miles of unspoiled wilderness maybe you will realize there's huge areas of this earth that man has no effect on the climate...... add in the fact that 70% of the earth's surface is water and you should start to realize man is not affecting the earth's climate...

Thanks for clarifying the obvious.
The climate crazies have decided to label CO2 as pollution.
We know what pollution looks like and nobody wants to cause it. We've done a outstanding job cleaning up the air, water and bays in the past 40 years.
They have to invent monsters, or they lose power.
Anyone who grew up in Houston in the 60's knows what pollution looks like, it doesn't look like that any more, since they slayed the dragon, they must invent new dragons.

Little nugget from Statista:

Energy consumption in the United States produced 4.8 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide (GtCO₂) in 2023 - a decrease of 2.7 percent from the previous year. U.S. CO₂ emissions from energy consumption have fallen by approximately 20 percent since 2005.

Someone please tell the climate hand wringers that we have cut carbon emissions here in the US. The people that tell the climate crazies what to think have seemed to have left that out. Go yell at China ya bunch of maroons.
