Who flipping cares, he dropped OUT of the league. Cry no longer, he is gone. Easy there big fella. You should be more stressed out about the spinning setup thread in this section than this thread?

The one advantage to that thread is that we don’t have 20 pages of the same comment over and over and over.

Who flipping cares, he dropped OUT of the league. Cry no longer, he is gone. One thing is for certain about bass fishermen, if they weren't crying about this there is a list of about 100 other things they would be crying about. At least this gave everyone a break on crying about FFS. My experience in life is that the people who do the least amount of crying are the ones that seem to do the most amount of winning. Funny how that works.

Back then, gathering information like that was legal, just like a lot of other questionable things were. Still, it highlights his lack of integrity and his disregard for doing things the right way. Maybe that’s where Scott picked up his poor judgment.
Dot dot dot Dan... once again, you never fail to impress me with just how deeply you misunderstand even the simplest things.
Maybe he learned it from vandam, clunn, or any of the other info gatherers? Wasn’t just Roland gathering info. Bottom line is Scott has a bigger fan base than any of the protesters ever will. Rightfully so as it is clear those without the balls to come out of shadows and make accusation. bass allows this so hopefully they will be granted with same failure rate as anonymous protesters that everyone seems to know. Hammer bros are clowns anyway.[/quote] You need to remove Clunn from your statement, he will not allow anyone to discuss the tournament waters with him, not even his friends. He insists on doing it alone and does not want any outside info clouding his thoughts.

Everybody seems to ignore the fact that if an angler becomes aware of a possible rules infraction, they are OBLIGATED to report it.
I initially had the mindset that everyone should be able to face their accuser. Maybe they should under some type of NDA that it’s between the protestor, BASS, and the accuser.
But if Scott is the bigger star and shares a sponsor with a new up and comer, would said sponsor retaliate against the protestor for protesting their star angler? I think there are valid reasons for BASS to not name the protestor. Could you imagine a rookie publicly protesting a KVD? How you think that would work out.
I believe Scott thought what he was doing at the time was 100% within the rules. But everybody knows when you ask about Lake B that fishes like lake A, you are looking for info on Lake A.
Scott flirted with that grey area and had the option of cooperating with the BASS investigation. HE CHOSE NOT TO. He knew deep down he was wrong.
What does pass his own polygraph mean? Does it mean he told the truth? Maybe he was honest about breaking a rule he didn’t realize he was breaking. Just from his own video, I think he crossed a line.
In the end the Anglers’ opinion should be the only one that matters and I bet the far majority believe he crossed the line. BASS is doing exactly what their anglers want them to do.
I think it speaks volumes about the integrity of BASS that they will enforce the rules equally regardless of how popular one might be.

Ive heard the same name from several different people. I dont see why its such a big deal Scot just got caught. The rest didn't. Its all politics in BASS. Same reason they are having so many problems right now.

No different than any other sport, but for some reason it’s crying when talking about bass fishing… but we just call it sports talk when every open channel talks about the trading Luka, or NFL draft potential busts, or new MLB rules. It’s all the same.

From allowing and then banning anchored putting, groove depth and sharpness of wedges and don't get me started on coefficient of restitution....lol...and a hundred other things. It's what people do on forums and should be civil discussion but, doesn't always work out that way.

TFF rule 24. If a member has determined a thread is long enough, he can play the crying card. Any and all disagreeing points made after are officially considered crying and you should be ashamed of yourself. The definition of crying is then left up to the card holder.
