Here are some more cool facts about opossums:
"Playing Possum":
When threatened, opossums enter a catatonic state, appearing dead, which is an involuntary reaction, not a voluntary act of pretending.
Prehensile Tail:
Opossums have a long, hairless tail that can be used to grip onto things, even hanging upside down from tree branches.
Opposable Thumbs:
Like humans and apes, opossums have opposable thumbs on their rear feet, which they use for climbing and balance.
High Immunity:
Opossums have naturally high levels of immunity, making them resistant to diseases like rabies and snake venom.
Pest Control:
Opossums are opportunistic omnivores, consuming a wide variety of insects, snails, slugs, rodents, and carrion, making them natural pest control agents.
Marsupial:
Opossums are marsupials, meaning they carry their young in a pouch, like kangaroos and koalas.
50 Teeth:
Opossums have more teeth than any other mammal in North America, with a total of 50.
Nocturnal:
Opossums are primarily nocturnal, meaning they are most active at night.
Grooming:
Opossums are known for their meticulous grooming habits, which help them stay clean and cool, especially in hot weather.
Short Lifespan:
Opossums have a relatively short lifespan in the wild, often living only around two years due to various factors, including predators and vehicle collisions.

Tell her to crack a can of tuna, place it out in the yard. That possum will be eating good soon enough and can be scared away.

^^^^^ yes, a lot of these soft plastics are DIY hand made from silicone molds of original clay worm, creature, and swimbait masters I sculpted.......with a generous amount of anchovie oil/craw oil/worm oil mixed in there.
Probably smells delicious to a possum.

She needs a slingshot. I can send her one if you trust her with it. Bbs are pretty cheap.

Well in that case the Animal Control has a pet opossum.

Happens every week while you are working.

I'd probably cull her and get a model that can handle something small like that without calling me... maybe a younger model.
