"Tyres", for the Yankees.
Staggered sizes. Meaning two different sizes for the front and back. Made an appointment for the absolutely cheapest tires they have. Tires with an extremely rude name, Kum-Ho'.
$780 bucks installed. No warranty added. 40 thousand glorious mile rating which in layman's terms. 20k-30k before they're bald. 40k is their way of saying that's the safe limit.
I hate buying tires. I really hate strangers touching my car. But the days of me installing tires with a crowbar in the front yard are over. It'll be nice to have something balanced for a change.
Ugh....Seven hundred and eighty damn dollars. Better then the factory tires at $550 each. They lasted 18k miles. No burn outs worth mentioning.
Oh well, it is what it is until it ain't.

Some BMW's are that way, but you'd be hard pressed to find a set for under 8.

Are you Joe Dirt? Think he has a Camaro, must be an LT/RS if it has staggered tires. He should have just melted some rubber and made the tires. Of course with a fully detailed post with 300 pics so we can follow along.

Wife's Caddy has two sizes. And typically, the car companies put cheap tires on new vehicles. Get 'em out the door.

Oh well, it is what it is until it ain't. Buy the cheaper 40K mile tire and then repeat the process in half the time or pay 40% more and getting twice the mileage and not having to pay mounting, balancing, and disposal but one time. Makes sense to me.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !
