This is one technique that I feel is lost in Striper/hybrid fishing. Yeah you’re gonna catch a bunch of catfish but you will also catch some of your biggest stripers/hybrids. Find a hump or point in 20-30 ft of water and double anchor and stretch the boat tight. Fan cast cut bait all around and leave slack in the line. The fish will tell you where to zero in and what depth. Take live shad, preferably gizzards and cut their tales at an angle to where they slowely bleed out. The key point is leave slack in the line and when that line tightens knock the chit out of them and set the hook. It’s a pain in the [censored] to set up but once you are it can be great for big fish

Brandon I will be out for my annual men's fishing trip this weekend. I will have to relearn some humps with the lake 20' down. We may give this method a try. I have not been on the lake in a few months fishing, any word on a hot area right now?

Brad I would focus on the mid lake ot the dam. look for Humps in that 20-30ft range. Shad are running the banks pretty good right. When I leave the house in the mornings you can smell shad. Do you still have that map I PM'd you?

I will look for it. When they canned my Rebait handle[ said I was hacked by spam] I might have lost it. If you could send it again I would appreciate it.
