I hope the seller didn't lose money on this transaction. I understand your view, but I would probably follow through on making this right. Yep. Same here, I would call them. Someone is out $55. Call Amazon? Impossible. Pretty sure that would be more difficult than trying to call the IRS... Which is impossible.

We deal with Amazon here at work. Here are some things y'all should know.
Amazon as the seller: 1) Amazon buys your goods, but has a 25% mark-off, when buying. This is to cover, shipping, returns, and missing / damaged. 2) Amazon will house your goods, but you pay a cost for storage. 3) Amazon will ship your goods back at your expense, if they do not sell. If you refuse to take it back, you pay for disposal.
You're the seller and have an AZN marketplace: 1) You ship, sell, etc. But need to know follow their rules. 2) Prices are set based on demand. 3) Shipping must follow their Prime, 1-2 days, or you lose "points" and could lose the ability to sell. 4) You need to keep updated information, products, etc. 5) You pay shipping, no matter if there's a "free Prime" account ordering.
As you can see, Amazon has the power, you don't.

I wish Amazon would get my refund straight I bought something through them from a 3 party seller , and then the seller said that the product was out of stock to cancel the order because they didn't know when they would have any more in so I did so I contacted amazon about the refund and they said it could take up to 7 business day , it took them only a few minutes to charge my credit card, but 7 days to refund is a little long in my opinion. It won’t take that long My son has tried to order a particular set of very expensive headphones twice. Both times they gave him a code to give to the driver. A code that the driver was not aware of. The driver(s) have now failed to deliver (stolen) two pairs of $5000 headphones. Both times Amazon said it may take up to 10’days for the refund. It took less than 24 hours each time. He’s sure the drivers are enjoying some Focal Utopia Beryllium headphones while they deliver their way to getting fired for theft. Haha. The “code” was because they knew the driver(s) were stealing certain packages. When the driver came back without the package, and WITHOUT the code, they got busted. (Hopefully). He is trying to get these headphones for his birthday….we are trying for a third time this week.

I paid my Granddaughters teachers certificate charge off $4590 out of my Edward Jones account. The Teachers of Texas is who we paid. Well they took it out twice. My Granddaughter contacted them and even sent them a copy of the Edward Jones transaction. It took us 3 weeks and threatening to sue before they returned my money. I really believe they were going to keep the money.

I didn't send it back nor did I return anything. Amazon refunded it anyway. So I looked it up. It seems like this happens all the time. It's just my turn. I'm not touching the money. It can float around my account. Not gonna call or chat with them either. They didn't chat with me when they lost an order. So...whatever. Not gonna do
Whatever you do don’t touch that $55, that’s life changing type of money there. It may come in handy if things get tight and you need something like toothpaste or toilet paper. Look at the annuity thread, that could be an option on this type of life changing 💰💰💰

Lucky you! Amazon recently shipped me an empty package. When I tell them the item is missing, they show me a picture of the empty package sitting on my porch. When I tried sending them back the empty package with a note explaining that's how I received it, they tell me I didn't return the item. I wish I had taken a picture of me putting the empty package in the mailbox.

I'm not surprised you can chat with Amazon. More than likely you have to go through a couple of bots first.
I am surprised you can call them. Kind of being in that industry that's not what I would have expected. Of course it's going to be offshore lol.
None the less, I'm glad you got that bag grasshopper Glock. You should go hog wild at the Whataburger tonight.
