Thank you all! I am especially grateful to celebrate this, my 50th birthday, as I was not sure I'd see it last year. I've had to relearn how to speak and I'm about 85% to 90% back to where my speech was, but it's been a long row to hoe. My dizziness and headaches are better, but still, the effects of my TBI are evident and bothersome, but at least I'm still alive! Thank you all for remembering me this day!

Two of my friends/bosses took me to lunch today at Mixed Up Burgers in Grand Prairie and my mom took me to Don Melquia's in Joshua for dinner. Yesterday, my mom and sisters took me to BooRay's for lunch. I have had a great day! I will be leaving on Thursday morning for a friend's bachelor party in St Louis...why picked St Louis is beyond me, but it will allow me to see another friend that pitches for the Cardinals, so that'll be cool! One of my most favorite humans told me today, "At least now you know nothing can kill you in your 40's." She's right, since I'm 50, but I'll be damned if my 40's didn't try to kill me and were only 1 to 2 minutes away from succeeding, according to my doctors. So, yeah, I'm grateful to be here.

Thank you all!

Go eat at the old spaghetti factory on the landing. It is a cool place and great food. And…..

happybday
