I have two HDS 9" Touch Gen2 units. Can I connect the two so I can have the same info up front? Would I use a NMEA cable and if so, where would I fine a female to female cable? Thanks!!!

I'm not real familiar with the Lawrence units but i think you should have round yellow plugs on the back of the units for networking. Those are the ethernet connectors. You can get the cable in different lengths from Bass Pro, Amazon, etc.

If you use the Ethernet (yellow) cable between the two units, they will share waypoints, maps, transducers. If you connect them with the Ethernet and a NMEA connection(requires a complete NMEA backbone with power and end caps) they will share controls of other items in the network(network audio, Point One, engine interface, etc). One of those two allows you to control brightness of all screens with one screens adjustments as well. Don’t know which one allows that communication.
But….basic networking you only need to connect them together to with the yellow Ethernet.
