Haven't paid to get anything fitted since the 90s. Slacks, jackets, ties...amazon specials. I have better things to spend money on and I don't wear them more than I have to for business meetings.

Been a very long time since I’ve worn a suit. I have one somewhere in the closet but I’m certain it wouldn’t fit and it’s probably so dusty it’s not worth cleaning

never owned a three piece, had a nice jacket and pants set that with the dress shirt and a borrowed tie my mom said I looked nice...used it for two job interviews back in the day...other than that I really don't have a use for one... ended up getting a thing called a "sport jacket", put on a button up shirt with a pair of khakis and my ostrich cowboy boots and that is as far as I'll go in the fancy costume department...

No suits worn for many years. These days a sport coat with a button up shirt, jeans or khakis and a pair of boots is about as dressed up as I get.

Suits to appropriate events, no ties. I wear a banded collar shirt or a knit pullover with them. Sport coats fairly often in cool weather.

I’ve bought some good stuff at The Dillards Oulet; Hart, Schaffer and Marx, Ralph Lauren, Dior, etc.
Jos A Banks was very good a few years ago but they are gone, I think.

Bought my first new suit in about 20 years four months ago. Pleased to see my fav Hart Schaffner & Marks is still making them. Ordered a navy blue pinstripe in New York cut via Dillards online that was on sale - cost about $450 total with a list price of $800. Already had the somber black cap toes for funerals, got some cognac cap toes and belt for weddings.

That might be the route I go. I tried on one just like yours at dillards a couple weeks ago and it was super nice

I have 1 suit. Bought early 90's. I'm waiting for it to come back in style.

At weddings and funerals which are one and the same. Either way I am paying respect to a lost sole.

Just FYI the best place I have found to get any alteration is K&G Men’s Store in Lewisville. There are some really good tailors in Flower Mound but a lot more expensive. I have a suit from my working days that had pleated pants that were now too big. The tailor at K&G completely redid the pants now no pleats and fit correctly. Also fixed shoulders in a sport coat for a reasonable price that my normal tailor in FM would not touch said it was too much work and would have to charge over $100. Pretty sure K&G, Men’s Wearhouse, and Jos A Bank are all owned by the same parent company.

I am thinking of wearing a suit to Sunday Easter Service. My jeans and boots are nice but a nice suit is a real step up.

I have 3 suits. Since I've lost weight they may be a bit loose.

Yes, at times, I wear my nice clothes.

In fact, there are times/events where I go out of my way to dress up when it is not necessary.

I love wearing dress shirts and ties!
