I now have readers in every room plus the truck and boat. Refuse to carry them with me. Good past three feet though. me too, wont wear them on my head or on a lanyard but do stick them in my pocket when i go in the store. it sucks not to be able to read a label.

I have had to wear contacts since I was 12...My sight has actually improved the last 12 years and my contact prescription has gone form -5.25 in both eyes to -4.75 in both eyes. I'll turn 50 on Monday.

I had the same prescription for 17 yrs from 33 to 50. Between 50 & 55 I got 3 significant new prescriptions. We get old in spurts!

Just had cataract surgery and lens implant, 20-20 vision now. Wish I had done it earlier . Lookout FFS! I had my left eye done March 17. I paid for the upgraded lens. I now have 20/20 distance, mid and near. In fact, I was able to read the line below 20/20 at all distances. Right eye April 14. I have worn glasses since second grade. Incredible to wake up and see.

My problem is I don’t know how blind I am until I put glasses on, then I can’t see without them. I can see great up close but distance is blurry. After wearing glasses and taking them off my eyes are not adjusting . I’m gonna say everything started looking foggy in my mid 40’s, otherwise I had excellent vision. Had a boss come up and ask me after a couple years what the eff was wrong with me. I said nothing, he got me off hoe and showed me. Looked like I was digging from a boat

I had perfect vision till I hit 40. Between 40 and 60 I've had two progressive prescriptions. Now at 61 I think I need bifocals. Old age sucks. Presbyopia, dude. I had perfect eyesight until I hit 40, also. Then boom, my arms were too short to read the newspaper. My problem used to be far sighted. Now its both. I had perfect vision till I hit 40. Ya'll have been warned all your life that if you keep doing that, it will make you go blind. Here you are, needing glasses

my peeper doctor told me that your eyes constantly change between 40-60. @ 54 I had lens implants for cataracts. best thing ever. zero regrets.

A upgraded lens implant when getting cataract surgery is epic!
