I had perfect vision till I hit 40. Between 40 and 60 I've had two progressive prescriptions. Now at 61 I think I need bifocals. Old age sucks.

Presbyopia, dude. I had perfect eyesight until I hit 40, also. Then boom, my arms were too short to read the newspaper.

You need to eat more carrots. I learned about ocular nutrition from Paul Harvey.

They go quickly, I think late 40s for me. Numerous prescriptions and ultimately double cataract surgery and only need readers now

I have my mother’s eyes. They are in my pocket.

I tried progressive lens 10 years ago.. made me so sick I returned them... now just readers and cant see much detail further out.

I now have readers in every room plus the truck and boat. Refuse to carry them with me. Good past three feet though.

Bobcat, Medicare will pay for cataract surgery only, not upgraded lens implants. They will give an exam to see which lenses you would be eligible for. May lenses were different for each eye. They have various price ranges as well. I had to do something because I couldn't pass my eye test at the drivers license bureau.
