There was a Junior High girl in Killeen stabbed and killed by another girl about 2 weeks ago. Very sad the state of today's youths.

Wow! I just cannot fathom. There may have been times I wanted to stab myself during track meets (man they seemed to go and on in the wind, rain, scorching sun (or anything else that was not enjoyable weather), but I can't imagine the level of anger inside a person to do this.

Kid got stabbed by another kid at a track meet in Frisco this morning.
And the kid that got stabbed died. The world my kids are growing up in sucks. We have a track meet of our own tomorrow. Just saw this on the news.. Feel sorry for our kid’s future… It’s not getting better..

I went to a HS track meet last week for a while. Just looking over the field, I am a little surprised it doesn’t happen more often.

Kids that were there say this was over a broken cell phone. And that the kid that stabbed was a twin, and the wrong twin (not the cell phone breaker). Even more tragic.

Details? Why did he get stabbed? It appears Karmelo had to keep it real. Now he can hang with his hommies for life. Color me shocked ole karmelo was the guilty party..gotta keep up with street cred after ole girl beat her competition over the head with a baton.

Absolutely horrible you send your kid to a track meet and the last thing on your mind is their safety- time to start public hangings again

37% of children are raised in single parent households, usually their mother.
There is no one to intercede for them, a number of children were stabbed when I was in high school in 1973.
It’s tragic but shouldn’t be a surprise that it happened.
