Any recommendations on trailer hub work in north Fort Worth area? Also, can I pull it there on three wheels as I’ve blown a hub. Is it safe?

Try Mcgills, as for the safety aspect you have to be your own judge of that.

I’ve pulled mine on three wheels after blowing 2 tires on a return trip from Ivie.

I’ve changed bearings on the side of the road as well.

Now I keep a full hub kit in my truck as that’s a lot easier than changing bearings and races on the side of a busy highway. Hub kits from Tractor Supply and Academy make life a lot easier.

Had a hub go out 60 miles from my destination. Got so hot the race welded to the spindle. Had to remove tire and strap up axle to hold it up and went the next 60 miles on 3-wheels with no issues.

Now I too keep a spare vortex hub in my truck to just swap it out.

After way too many times on the side of the road with wheel/tire/hub problems, I have a large plastic box in the back of my Jeep full of tools and repair parts.
