Well, it took me 5 years; but I finally did manage to catch Covid. Sooooo, maybe there is still hope for me, eventually.

Shoot, I've caught Covid so my times I was culling the test kits.

Lakes cycle. Bass don’t live forever. Ivie will be stagnant until the next flood. Fork should be producing the next 2-3 years. Finally seeing 11-12lb fish showing up again. We were missing 5 years of bass from the drought years ago.

They are not dropping eggs in open water.

I'm done with the whole FS argument so I don't care who does so not asking in that regard. What I honestly don't see is how a fish caught traditionally vs FFS matters one bit of a difference when it comes to the fish spawning. I don't see how FFS is gonna decimate the bass population when most bass anglers catch and release any way. Plus if you have targeted fish with FFS you know more times than not its not a numbers game for the most part either.

Your not missing anything people that can't or won't use ffs are just bitching , (Im old and not very good with mine) because for years they cried about bed fishing now ffs some just like to grip, what we all should be griping about is the lack of vegetation in our Texas Lakes.

How can an organization that is supposed to represent fishermen systematically take part in destroying habitat, not to mention water quality?

well it is invasive. and not natural to Texas. But i am also guessing its the other war on salvania that really what there main goal is now, and that effort will kill grass.

Heaven forbid the regulating entity would put forth effort to eradicate or control federally designated INVASIVE SPECIES. There will always be collateral damage to native species, that’s part of it. But please, by all means, continue to hate on TPWD who has zero control over what’s designated as invasive or not.

If you really want to blame someone - blame your parents. That hydrilla was great for fish tanks back in the day..............

hydrilla has turned miles of barren mud lfats into bass factories at Guntersville,Chickamauga and Seminole....it about to transform huge mud flats in eufaula into great fishing areas until they sprayed it...same with every lake, spray the hydrilla and ruin the fishing....why can't our DNR see the obvious....our aging lakes need cover for fish to thrive....hydrilla in excellent cover.....
are the chemical companies bribing our legislators and fishery biologists?
