Was digging around and found a backpack I got from using them, it ran from the 80's through the early 2000's, I got that backpack, windproof butane lighter, keychain and some other random stuff, it was surprisingly good quality.

Had a buddy who worked as a bartender at a very, very busy bar/live music venue on 6th street in Austin early 90s.

At the end of the night, he must have cleaned up at least fifty empty packs each of Marlboro and Camel bucks…..every night.

He had all the really good stuff like the dart board, leather jacket, etc….he never smoked

Back when I ran a grocery store the cigarette and beer companies were good to me-

Heck, the pizza company was very good to me back then-

My dad and step mom had an entire wardrobe of Marlboro clothing, every bag, lighter, BBQ utensils set etc from Marlboro miles. My dad died last August with severe COPD it also caused renal failure.

My dad successfully owned/operated his own grocery store in Odessa for 30 years before retiring and moving to the coast ( his childhood home) Every few months we would pack up and head to Port A to fish. On beer order day he would mention to the sales guy he was heading to the coast for a week, that evening when ready to close up and head home there would be a couple of free cases in the bed of his truck.

Not firsthand anyways..😆. Hey if you’re gonna get lung cancer, might as well look good doing it.

UPS delivered 2 really nice telescopes to our home one time that were apparently Marlboro bucks prizes. We don't smoke and didn't order them, it was just a mistake. By the time I found a number to get a hold of someone, they told us to just keep 'em, courtesy of Marlboro.

Dang...I remember and I also remember how quality built some of that stuff was, lasted for many years. Had the duffle bag, a shirt and like a key fob compass thing.
