Truth.

I had shingles a few weeks after the covid " shots" . left side of my chest around to my back . 3 months of pain . When it first presented itself ( first two days ) , I would get an insane pain that felt like a massive heart attack . I couldn't breath for 15-20 seconds --the pain was intense .
A good buddy of mine saw what I was going through --- he and his wife got the Shingrix shots --she had no side effects . He was sick for two weeks

My mom had the shingles for over a year, no thank you I'm getting the shots

Don’t have stress anymore. I divorced her.

Had them around my belly years ago. Didn’t hurt but itched like hell. I need to schedule the shots.

I had shingles on the side of my head and into my hair. My Wife bought an aloe vera plant and used pieces of it to treat the blisters. It helped tremendously.

I turn 50 next month...I'll be getting the vaccine very soon. I have clients that have had it, a deacon at my old church would sit in his truck waiting on his wife (she couldn't drive) and would be in tears from the pain. I didn't know what shingles was back then...but it took a man that was one helluva hard worker and brought him to his knees. He was a delivery driver for Pepsi and had to retire. He'd get outbreaks every 6 months or so. My niece got them in her very early 20's and was in a lot of pain. I don't want that.

The pain is getting better every day. It still hurts bad at times. At night I'll wake up 5 or 6 times hurting. Can't get comfortable. I wish I'd got it anywhere except my head. It's just on the left side of my head. Two weeks of terrible headaches is enough.

I had it a few years ago on my head. You need to go see an eye doctor to make sure it does not get in your eye. They can treat it if it does.

Worked with a older gentleman one summer who had shingles... It looked very painful... When I found out they had a vaccine for it I made sure I got it... Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy... Dan
