My Motor Mate came with my boat when I bought it over 10 years ago. Here lately the roads in my surrounding area have taken a beating from the weather. A couple weeks ago, I could not dodge a terrible hump/dip/pothole and my Motor Mate absorbed the damage which it much better than stressing my transom more. It does. Without a receipt and having bought it just as part of a used boat purchase my expectations were very low. I went ahead and contacted customer service and shared all of the details above. They asked me to complete a warranty request and very much to my surprise…..my replacement will be delivered today. Other forum posts(not TFF) warned of a lack of caring and support but for me…..they went above and beyond my expectations. Big shout out to Motor Mate for taking care of this!!!

That's great customer service. On my previous boat, I had a similar experience, it was just those plactic caps on the end. They sent me new ones including a spare set. When I sold it, the new set were barely broken in and I gave the new owner the new set,
