2.8 or the 3.5 on a drop shot. The 5 inch is amazing on a Free Rig, especially if you are sight fishing. But I have also had luck with it on a naked Chatterbait.

They are absolute garbage don't waste your time and money!

Nah, just kidding. Like said above the 3.5 on a drop shot is money all day long, I'm about to order a bunch more. I haven't done as good on the 5" on a wide gap yet although I think I just need to put in more time with it. I bought a couple of 9" that I can't wait to try out on tarpon off the Port A jetties in a couple months when they show up.

How are you rigging it?

For the drop shot, nose hooking the bait flat with a 1/0 DS hook. On the Free Rig I also rig it flat with a 5/0 Haymaker with a 3/8 weight. I want the weight to drop fast so the bait has time to flutter down.

Rig it on this head. Yes, it twists your line as it falls in a spiral to the bottom but it looks very natural like a dying shad. If you find a big one on a bed rig it with a heavy drop shot with the bait about 6" above the weight.

Those baits smell terrible! They look good but smell horrible,I’m surprised that they are catching fish.
