Anyone here ever been through this chemo? Better known as the Red Devil. Just finished my 2nd cycle last Friday. I believe this is worse than the original pains. lol

Don’t remember what I was taking in 2010 but I remember some of the ingredients were used in WW1 mustard gas. Dr said he was going to take me to the very edge of death., and he did. While I survived, I still have some complications from my treatments. I’m grateful every day though.

Thanks guys. Last December I was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma. Have a mass the size of a grapefruit in my stomach. It is attached to my small intestine. I’m ahead of it. Just have to do the chemo to hopefully shrink it. Then they can surgically remove it. But I believe the chemo is worse than the original issue.

My late wife had 6 treatments of it back when she had breast cancer. I remember her saying it had the worst side effects of any treatments she took. Good luck to you. I will put you on my prayer list. Cancer Sucks!! 🙏

Serious prayers for you. Ex had it. It did work so that’s great.
It can have lasting effects. You will make friends at infusion. So you will have a ready made support system.
Make sure your oncologist communicates when u can start radiation treatment. The sooner the better, I understand. Please eat very healthy!!
All the possible blessings to you!

My mom also did 6 treatments for breast cancer. She has been cancer free for going on 15 years now. It was a difficult journey for her but she beat it. Fight Fight Fight!!!! Prayers sent to you Kerry.

Yes. I was diagnosed with a type of bone cancer in 2022 and had 10 cycles (6 days treatments / 14 days off) before surgery. Hair fell out after the 2 cycle. The last few cycles were rough.
Hoping for the best outcome for you.
