Rules say the spur has to be in contact above the break of the shoulder when the horses front two feet hit the ground. I believe I got it there but they gave me a free roll since he reared out and smashed like taco for breakfast . The reason I left there folded at a 90 degree angle. Gen X was a wicked mean dude in the chutes. Glad I got by him

Yeah BrandonA I used to ride a few bareback many years ago. A good friend of mine used to ride a bunch of open rodeos , a bunch of them were around the Hill country and I always pulled his rigging.

Paul Burnham, that was in the late 70's early 80's. His brother is David Burnham (PRCA clown, when they used to be called clowns) his dad rode PRCA bareback and then rode OTPRCA.
