Are you looking for regular maintenance every quarter and service for when needed? How many locations, are they RTU’s split systems?

We could possibly assist you.

I had a great experience using Entech for several years. Atmac Mechanical would be another option in that area.

TD industries will be glad to take all the money you can possibly spend and find all types of issues you have never heard of or even considered before...... you may take that however you like.

This is for a church. We are looking for quarterly maintenance as well as repair/installation work as required.

The campus was built in 4 phases over 30 years, and each construction phase has its own HVAC system. We have mini splits, RTU's and a chiller.

What HVAC controls system do you have?

I have worked beside all of the mentioned along with a couple of dozen more.
They all have pluses and all have faults.
I would probably choose a smaller company that has the ability to supply the manpower when needed.
The larger companies all have integrity issues. Salesmen telling you one thing, but you receive something less.
If you plan to have a major remodel done, I would go Brandt, TDI, or Decker.
Entech at one time took people striper fishing at Texoma, but those days are probably long gone.
Whoever you go with, say no to VRF when they want to replace your split system.

Integration into the EMS is another issue that we'll be tackling. I do not know what EMS we use yet.

BAS has many options. Go with Tridium for supervisory control and Schneider EcoStruxure for edge control. I helped develop the Niagara modules for the programming interface so I am biased. LOL. For a small company JMS reps Distech under Tridium Jace which is another good option
26 years as a Project Engineer with Siebe, Invensys and Schneider Electric. In R&D now. Niagara Frameworks guy since the R2 days, 2002

What is edge control?
Niagara is only as good as your installation and maintenance and 99 pct of them install and leave. They all rep Niagara to sell new, once it is installed they bail out.
Schneider has there own system, why would a person think they will rep the Tridium system as well as there own. This is the same with Siemens and Trane. They rep tridium, which is Honeywell.
I know why Siemens and Trane rep tridium as I worked for them both. The best Tridium systems I have ever seen were done by small time reps, but they ended up being the most expensive also.

We sell them to make money. Edge control….VAV… Unitary controllers…generic name for field devices. Our BACnet IP and MS/TP devices program and hosted under Jaces or Enterprise servers. Our EBO is our own product but we live where the cash is.
