Firearms make a damn poor club.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !

As long as I'm in that head. It is quite telling, tho. I'm not the one grabbing a firearm in my sleep. Almost committing neg homicide. And yet here we are.

Lololol.... Yeah....I'm the problem.

LMAO.....you guys are too much.

It's a beautiful Monday on TFF!

Yep, and never bring a club to a gunfight.

Do you sleep with a firearm near by because those death threats that were PM’d to you? I sure hope you’ll post those death threats so we can know who to avoid.

Do you take sleep aids some cause some strange stuff
I would probably just put it in a drawer or maybe move it to a dresser so you have to get up to get to it.

I wondered this too. I’ve heard of people having bizarre stuff happen when taking Ambien.

I had a lady that worked for me that said she took Ambien. She said she shopped in her sleep. Said it was like Christmas at her house when she got home from work…packages with no idea what they were.

I went on a helluva magic carpet ride due to one of those little pills back in 1999. Like that big Lebowski scene.

I was thinking exactly the same thing.

When in doubt, set the hook.

I have a buddy who takes ambien, I sure as hell would not want him to have access to a loaded gun after bedtime, he does some weird stuff in his sleep.

This is 100% my side effect. After many times of this happening, I had to start locking my phone up after I took it

Wow! the night of my incident with the Glock, we had come in from a 10 day cruise and I'd taken one of my wife's 10mg Ambien to try and get my sleep pattern back normal. That might explain why I awoke with the gun in my hand. I knew there were side effects and unusual occurrences (can you say Ambien sex
banana) but it had not crossed my mind in this instance. Still the Glock will never live on the bedside table, it's relegated to truck gun duty.

As you know I am a pharmacist,
I had a customer receive a call in the middle of the night from his MIL.( 84 years old ) She was in her car and did not know where she was or
how she got there. If I remember correctly she had driven 60 miles from home. She was on ambien. Very scary situation.
Most folks are unaware of how dangerous this drug can be , but it is still widely prescribed.

be careful out there

I was on Ambien for many years until it stopped working for me. Had some vivid dreams but nothing else. Been on Lunesta ever since. I only get up at night to pee!
