Anyone ever fish Lake Calcasieu, LA this time of year and have any pointers? Headed down there tomorrow to give it a shot. Never been except in the summer. Thanks.

The best place to fish is the weirs on the southeast side on an outgoing tide. If you get there before sunup, you might beat the guides and get a spot.

Be safe,

Make sure you give us a report. I may be heading that way in a couple of months. I've always fished St. Bernard parish, but now I'm only 3 1/2 hours from Calcasieu.

Hope you're doing good.
