Who’s serving good boiled crawfish around lake fork? I’m bringing a fishing buddy who rarely eats crawfish where he lives.

There's a crawfish stand next to Fisherman's One Stop that was very popular. I haven't been up that way lately, but I assume it is still open. I can't remember the name of it, but give Fisherman's One Stop a call (903-383-7121) and they could tell you.

The place that comes to mind for me is Seth's. They are on HWY 37 just South of Quitman few miles. There may be others though.

The place at Fisherman's One Stop became a full blown restaurant. We eat there every year when we go to fish the Elliot's Electrical Tourney.

It's hard to believe that HEB is selling boiled crawfish for $8.97 a pound. I love then, but they used to be considered trash. Sorta like chicken wings.

Be safe,

I'm finding them a bit cheaper than they were last year. Several places selling them for $5.50-$6 lb around here.

But,yeah, the HEB in Beaumont was selling them for $7.95/lb a couple of Saturdays ago. I laughed at them.

Not talking about sacks. Talking boiled and served to your table.

If they are $4.00 live you can bet that is going to more than double once you pay for the seasoning, equipment and labor to cook them.
