My sister in Tenn got our great grandmother's clock that's big and hangs on the wall. It must be wound daily.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !

Beautiful clock and very generous offer! CCTX is a lucky man! Is your wall carpeted? You trying to soundproof it for some nefarious reason? No. It was on the floor next to a dresser. The floor has carpet. Neither Bigbob nor I have any issues with big, thick carpet.

When I say “home office”; what I mean is it is the only room in the house (that has just been gifted back to me when the kiddos left for college) that I can put large speakers connected to powerful amplifiers and watch sports/action movies at loud volumes. I sound insulated the office so as not to disturb any Law and Order/Yellowstone/Billions/White Lotus/(insert other TV show here) going on in the family room.
