Don't hold your breath on the Steak and Ale thing. S&A wasn't gonna get a Michelin star or anything but it was always consistent. It is one of those places that didn't get the credit it really deserved until AFTER it was gone.

I use to really dig a Tuna sandwich from Quiznos. Far superior to Subway anyways.

When we first moved to area pre smart phones my wife was lost and called me. I asked her what she could see and she said Edmonsons lol. I told her to lock her doors and leave immediately

I see Victoria station was mentioned, that brings back a lot of memories. My folks loved the prime rib there and I got it fairly often. Steak and ale mentioned too, that’s where I took my now wife on our first date. At least the salad bar was good roflmao

There are still Mariano’s around but its rebranded to Hacienda blah, blah, blah

The original Mariano’s was in Old Town Village and it was also the home of the first frozen margarita machine

The Mecca Restaurant that was on Harry Hines in Dallas. Club Smitz had a dang good burger also.
