It's dusty because the books on the tall shelf attached to the wall are decorative, and allllllllll the times I've been there, NOBODY touches those books.
Clearly, I can read it, then return it, but I know after reading the first 20 pages I want it.
Plus +, there is an inscription in the book written to Lillian G., who might actually be the famous silent actress from the 20s, Lillian Gish.
I will read it, then consider returning it.

It was being used as a decoration. The owner of something (for the most part) gets to determine a things use, whether it is the original intended use of said thing or not.
Books are not thungs that are used to read 100% of the time. And many books are read, then kept on a shelf. I have a lot of books in my possession that I (or my wife) bought. They are ours, and we can use them however we want because we own them.

...! I used to walk up to Axton's Bass City when he was in Mesquite some friends I was hanging with was stealing lures... I went to the worm bar got some worms when Joe asked me "How many worms you got ?" I said 10 but actually had 15 worms...When I HOME I felt really bad and I walked back up there and told him and payed...I quit hanging with thieves and Joe and I became friends he really taught me a lot... Never stole anything again I was in Jr. High then...

Read it, take it back, buy 4 coffee's and take one. Put the rest of the coffee's purchased on a pay it forward board. If you liked the book that much, the legit purchase it for yourself. Send it out and we'll all inscribe it for you and send it back.
