"Texas Gun Trader", is better and they'll have your city. Most folks do a face to face in the.....HEB parking lot.

Easy way to buy without taxes or a transfer fee. Sometimes there's some deals. Other times, it's people being bored.

They are the most reliable I have seen with the least amount of problems
I have or had the 17,17c, 19, 22,23,43,43x, 34, and 45
If I could have only one it would be the Glock 45 then the 43x. My least favorite is the 23

Have several and shoot the often. Never had a failure and they fit my hand just fine. I will say I like the Canik trigger much better.

Can I go directly to the Glock web site order one and have it delivered to my door? If so then I may have to re-think my stance on Glock.

Nope, I can't stand glocks.
Probably because of hollylame using them in most movies and shows.

Addendum: I think they are ugly as well.

Unfortunately, with short budgets the norm these days, many of them don’t get the training and practice they need to achieve proficiency. Our budget allowed us to qualify once a year. I wanted monthly quals with every other one night quals, but that was never going to happen. The past several years none of the new hires had received any low light / no light range training at the various academies they had attended.

Way back when I carried a badge I was issued ammo from the Border Patrol to practice with. Customs Patrol was the same thing and they would issue you a box of hollow points. They even gave ya ammo for the Steyr Aug. Had little to no use for the Steyr, but I still have some of that 5.56 ammo for my rifles.

My best advice would be for ya to practice dry firing, from concealment or open carry at least a couple of times a week. Just do it for about 10 to 15 minutes. Not just drawing, but actually getting a sight picture.

As to Glocks, not major fond of them but, I normally carry a G48 when I go to town.

Same at my old Department. But we qualified once a month, many times in real scenarios that actually happened to other guys; even off duty scenarios. In my shooting, three of us shot at the guy shooting at us while running. The other two officers had 40's and the fatal hit, was my .45

I like them. Even own a few and usually carry a 17 or 19.

I'd like the 17L (long slide) one day. Gen 3s are about $625.

Let me know what you are looking for - I have a couple that may be what you are looking for - a .45 and a .40 - could use the proceeds to purchase some golf equipment.
