We gave away wife's parents grand father clock. It was picked up about 3: 30 today. Thank you lord I don't have to wind the dang thing any more.

However, I did see a house the other day with carpet in the kitchen and that makes about as much sense as carpeting walls.

I have the below clock. I bought it from Heritage House Clocks, 14450 Midway Rd, Dallas, TX 75244, in maybe 1996 or so and paid $700 - $800 for it. I would be willing to hand it over - free of charge - to a worthy TFFer on one condition: - YOU CANNOT SELL IT! Keep it, use it, give it to someone…fine…but you MUST AGREE TO NOT SELL IT. (Obviously, Honor System rules apply) It probably needs a little cleaning up, oil, general look over, but to the best of my knowledge it runs just fine.
