Gabby was Oskar’s lifelong partner. When we put Oskar down right after Christmas, Gabby just lost the bounce in her step. I was out of town on business when my wife called and said she was struggling. I got home too late and didn’t get to say goodbye and it breaks my heart. She was such a sweet little dog unless you were a rodent and then she would shake the rattle out of you. I guess it’s an end of an era for us since she was my last wiener dog. RIP Gabby. I will sure miss you.

Same here. After putting our last one down, my wife wanted to take a break from dogs.
I don't blame her but I sure miss having one.

Buried my 13 yr old dog on January 31st. My backyard is empty again😥

Oskar and Gabby were both 13 and passed three months apart. My couch is empty. They were my arm rests.

I am so sorry, Danny! Dogs are so awesome and it sucks to say goodbye to them! It's been a little over 2 years since I lost my last one, Oreo. I keep looking at Petfinder and think about getting another one. I've been following MyLittleShihTzuLadies on Instagram. It's primarily 2 ShihTzu dogs with a comic's voice...anyway the one playing the dad looks like Oreo and the one playing the son looks like Preema. Makes it a little easier for me.

The good Lord needed yet another fine dog! Her memories will be with you and your wife forever.
