I have the below clock. I bought it from Heritage House Clocks, 14450 Midway Rd, Dallas, TX 75244, in maybe 1996 or so and paid $700 - $800 for it.

I would be willing to hand it over - free of charge - to a worthy TFFer on one condition:

- YOU CANNOT SELL IT! Keep it, use it, give it to someone…fine…but you MUST AGREE TO NOT SELL IT.
(Obviously, Honor System rules apply)

It probably needs a little cleaning up, oil, general look over, but to the best of my knowledge it runs just fine.

If interested, let me know!

I just hung one in our house very much like yours...except the face on ours is round rather than octagonal...and I didn't pay anything for it. Snagged it from my mom's house after she passed. Best I recall, my grandmother gave it to her as a gift near 50 years ago. So, the clock and its chime are a distinct childhood memory. Still keeps great time too. One chime/gong on the half hour and then the number of chimes/gongs for the hour. Our dog barks one time after each chime/gong. I figure after a couple more months the dog will get conditioned and we can just quit winding the clock.

Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading

First I would cry, then I would probably sue them.

I wouldn’t sue you no matter what, because you’re my bud….but I would take their a** on Judge Judy show (if that’s still a thing) so America could see what they did.

Yeah man, this one is oak, and can be set to chime on the hour, ding on the 1/4 hours or be silent.

Love it........and I will honorably claim it if no one else does.
I would never, ever sell it or give it away until I die.
I will be able to drive up to your area on Saturday.

Good point! I’m going to amend the condition and make conditions. No flatbed hauling it either, unless rj approves how it is tied down.
