What strain is the kind that you can smell all the way across a lake? Does that really stinky chit mean it’s really good or really cheap? Dunno, I don’t have a sense of smell.

I used to really like Dan Patrick. My parents would listen to his radio show and he seemed very reasonable. I think he's just wrong on this issue 100%. It doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

I don't get why anyone likes the stuff to honest. Not being able to hold a thought for two seconds and intense paranoia are not what I would consider a good time.
In any case, I don't support making it illegal, in fact, it should be made legal nationwide. My only gripe is I don't want to smell it in public places. It's trashy. You need to smoke better stuff.

This is so dumb. Not sure why the keep fighting this so hard. Make marijuana legal, tax the snot out of it.
And no, I don't smoke. Never have. With that rationale we should make every drug legal and tax the snot out of it.

I think pot should be legalized at the federal level.
That said, I do have some problems with what has been going on for the past several years. In places where it has been decriminalized, they are not doing a good job of regulating things. First off, there is way too much smoking in cars. Can't even walk through a church parking lot in Oklahoma without smelling it from 3 directions. Smoking while driving should be treated even more harshly than drinking. Also, it seems like the areas around dispensaries are always a slum. And there are way more slum areas in weed friendly states than anywhere else, granted that may be due to other factors as well. And it is a valid point that the tax revenue benefits don't seem to be paying out as advertised.
Perhaps most importantly, I don't like states ignoring federal laws. Either you have a strong federal government, or not. You can't just pick and choose. The very same states that started the Civil War are now doing the very same thing that they fought over in the first place. I'm all for states' rights, but this doesn't seem like the right way to go about it. 5 miles from my house is the MO border where rec weed is legal. On the HWY just across the border on each side of the road are MJ stores, one on each side. If I wanted, I could drive over there and purchase product legally, but if I drove back over the border with it in my possession I would be breaking AR law, not to mention the US laws. I don't partake, but I don't like having itlegal in one state, but not another state or on the fedreal level. do the cops hang out there and bust ppl coming from the weed store? The city cops have said they are not going to do any kind of sting operation. Have not seen anything from the county or state cops. If you get pulled over and they see MJ stuff in your car, they'll write you up for it. Medical MJ is iegal in AR with a script.

I can’t handle what they smoke nowadays. My fishing partner got 1 joint from one of his relatives with a med card and said let’s smoke it for old times sake while we were doing some prefishing. I should have quit after the first little pull on it, the second one did me in. Luckily we were in his boat, I had to dig a butt seat and a life jacket out of a rod box and it took me about 20 minutes. I finally got sat down and made a cast, I’m not sure but it might have been the only cast all day and I was still winding it in when we quit for the day. I wore the life jacket for 2 hours after we got out of the boat and didn’t even realize it.
